Make Them Yummy Meals
Make Them Yummy Meals is a charitable organization formed to provide a nutritious hot meal to individuals with limited access to food. Meals will be delivered in communities using a food truck.
Founder Julie Mikkelson formed this organization to honor the life of her husband Rick who died in July 2017 after being electrocuted at work. The mission of Make Them Yummy Meals is inspired by Julie’s 33 year career with the USDA Food and Nutrition Service where she has been a leader in administering nutrition assistance programs.
Rick’s motto in life was to “MakeTym”. It wasn’t just on his license plate. He made time for the important things in life. He loved Jesus and his family was his number one priority. Read more about him on the blog!
